MOTOR-CAR OVERTURNS.
When turning into Lonsdale Street from the Esplanade, New Brighton, at 6 p.m. yesterday, a touring car driven by Mr lan Cloudsley, residing at 22, Bennett Street, Papanui, overturned. The borough inspector. Mr F. Blewitt, was the first on the scene, and with assistance turned the car over. The driver received a cut on the forearm and the four other occupants escaped practicallv unhurt. The accident was thought to be caused bv a rear tyre bursting. The car suffered damage to the hood and windshield.
