Christmas Tournament Continued. AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP. The Christmas golf tournament was continued at Shirley to-day. The weather early* in the morning was unpleasant, with rain interfering, but later it became fine and warm, only to be followed by' more rain after one o'clock. The Christchurch amateur championship, two rounds of stroke play, and two stroke handicaps, were to-day’s events. R. G. Arnould led in the championship with a morning round of 74.
