Mr W. H. E. Flint, for his wise guidance and enterprise, and yourself for much selfsacrificing labour: also the members of the executive of the various committees, the group captains, and all those who have so generously contributed. I am both proud and grateful for all that has been done in the carrying out of your great effort.” Receipts and Payments. The receipts and payments are shown as follows: RECEIPTS.

On December 6 the excess of assets over liabilities amounted to £llO 15s. The accounts were adopted on the motion of the chairman, and it was decided that the final balance, after all payments had been met, should be transferred to the Mayor’s Relief of Distress Fund.
