FRENCH BUDGET.
Third Government in Six Weeks to Move. United Press Assn. —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received December 8. 11.30 a.m.) PARIS, December 7. France’s third Government in six weeks to-day will attempt to pass the Budget through the Chamber of Deputies. The battle will mainly rage round two articles. The first, on which two Governments have fallen, provides for a modest levy on civil servants’ salaries, and the second is a new proposal seeking to abolish the number of allowances granted to income taxpayers. It is probable that the Government will accept considerable modifications without putting the question to a vote of confidence.
