Dr John Rex Godsall, of Sydney, who complained of the adverse effect Police Court publicity would have on his career, was fined £BS, ordered to pay £2l costs, and was sentenced to two months’ imprisonment. He also was disqualified from holding a licmse for two years. He faced the Court on six charges of driving while disqualified from holding a license, and two charges of dangerous driving. Dr Godsall previously had been fined and his license suspended for driving without insurance. The evidence stated, that he a woman wheeling a perambulator and drove into a constable- who endeavoured to stop him.
