CYCLONE DAMAGE.
50-yard Wide Strip Ripped Through Melbourne. ESSENDON SUFFERS. United Press Assn.— By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received December S, 12.30 p.m.) MELBOURNE, December 8. A cyclone struck a section of Essendon suburb, causing heavy damage. Tiles were torn from the roofs, fences were razed, windows were broken, outhouses were wrecked, and the hoods of motor-cars were torn off. The path of the cyclone was a mile long and about 50 yards wide.
