The Maori Girls’ School prizegiving ceremony will be held to-morrow. Saturday, at 2.15 p.m. at the school grounds, 290 Ferry Road. Then the pupils will give one of their delightful little Maori entertainments. Afterwards there will be a garden party and- sale of work, produce, cakes and books. Many members and friends attended the social held by the Oddfellows’ Lodge in its hall. Upper Riccarton. on Tuesday evening. Mr E. _T. King was M.C. and Mr H. Ashby supplied the music. The winners of competitions were Mesdames E. Rattray and I. Knight, Messrs W. Ledgard and H Bucknell.
