CONCERT AT RICCARTON.
A concert was given last evening in St James* Parish Hall. Riccarton. to assist the St James' Sunday School Picnic fund. There was an excellent attendance of parishioners and friends. The programme, which was of a high standard, was arranged by Misses Kona Thompson and Tui Thomas. The items included conjuring, exhibitions of dancing, sketches, pianoforte solos and duets, recitations. mandolin solos, vocal solos and duets, and choruses by the Primary and Junior Sunday School classes. The accompanists were Me«dames R. de Lambert and W. Cook, Misses Ruby Curragh. Ed Bn Bowbyes and Mr M. Lurnmls. The performers were: Mrs C- C. Bromley. Misses E. Wheatley. Shirley Cook, Jean Davison, Rona Thompson. Norma Prie**. Diana Vivian. Valerie Cater. Sh'-na Boyle. Alison and Beryl Gougli. Tho Boyle. Shirley Andersen. Alison Denton. Marjorie Watt, Miliv Rhodes.
