SHOT GIRL DEAD.
16-year-old Station Hand’s Crime. TURNED GUN ON HIMSELF. United Press Assn.—By Elcctrio Telegraph—Copyright. (Received December 7, .12.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, December 7. With a joking remark as a prelude Eddie O'Keefe, aged 10, a station hand, shot dead Aliss Patricia Ken-Smith, aged 20, daughter of the manager of Alerridong Station, near Orange. He then shot himself through the temple. He died later in hospital. The motive for the crime is unknown.
