ST NINIAN’S CHURCH.
Annual Congregational Meeting. The fifteenth annual congregational meeting of the St Nfnian’s Presbyterian Church. Puriri Street, Ricearton, was held last evening, the Rev J. A. Allan presiding. Mr Ross Hepburn presented the session’s report, which revealed that satisfactory progress bad been made. The roll number had increased from 179 at the beginning of the year to 184. Mr Allan, the report stated, had continued his work during the year with ability and success. The deaths were recorded of the Rev George Lindsay, the Rev T. G. Butler and Mrs M’Lean. Mr J. B. Dowling presented the report of the Management Committee, which stated that the financial position had improved towards the end of the year. The balance-sheet disclosed a credit balance of £lO 10s 3d. The following office-bearers were elected to fill vacancies on the session:— Messrs F. .J. B. Murray and A. J. Gray. Four members were elected to the Management Committee, Mr D. Swanston (re-elected) and Messrs C. Wilson, J. Brown and A. Macquarrie.
