CANTERBURY PILGRIMS.
Association Holds Annual Meeting. The annual meeting of the Canterburv Pilgrims' Association was held la*t evening. Mr E. R. Webb presiding. The annual report stated that there had been twenty deaths and fourteen resignations during the year. In the same period ninety-five new memberhad been elected, three of whom were life members. There were now thirty life. twenty-one honorary and 60 • ordinary members, making a total of 658. , . The following officers were elected: Patron, Mr Richard Evans (Creasy): president, Mr E. R. Webb; vicepresidents, Mesdames Geo. Hanmer, John Deans. Thco Bowker, J. A. Flesher. Chas. Wood. Sir A. Dudley Dobson, Messrs John Anderson, G. Jameson. Hastings Bridge. George Harper and F. G. Brittan; honorary treasurer. Mr J. O. Jamieson; committee, Messrs H L. Bowker. Selwvn Bruce. A. D. Hassall. H. E. Marsh. Lovell-Smlth. J. Wallace. T. Booth and H. W. Palmer. Messrs Booth. Lovell-Smlth. Selwyn Bruce and Hastings Bridge were appointed an historical research committee. ______
