LICENSING COMMITTEE.
The quarterly meeting of the Christchurch Licensing Committee was held to-day, when Mr H. A. Young. S.M., presided. Applications for the transfer of the license of Storey’s Hotel from Stewart Frederick Storey to Elizabeth Watkinson. and for a change of name to Storey's Tourist Hotel were granted. An application for the transfer of the license of the Wellington Hotel from John de Putron Mauson to Mortimer Patrick Corliss was approved. An application by Alice May Nash to carrv on the license of the Star and Garter Hotel was also approved.
