LATE MR W. D. LAWRENCE
Funeral at Waimairi Cemetery. The funeral of the late Mr William Daniel Lawrence, which left the residence of his son, Air J. W. K. Lawrence, Jackson’s Road, Fendalton, yesterday afternoon for the Waimairi Cemetery, was largely attended, representatives from many, sporting bodies and Christchurch firms being present. A short service was held at the house. Archdeacon P. B. Haggitt officiating. He j also took the service at the graveside.! The chief mourners were Alessrs J. YV. K.. 11. S„ C. 11., and L. V. Lawrence, sons, and the grandchildren. The pall-bearcrs at the house were Messrs J. F. Pcultc-n, C- L. Mathias, F. A. Brittan, C. 11. Y'igers, YV. O. Campbell and R. F.
