POLICE COURT NEWS
Mr E. D. Mosley. S.M., presided at a sitting of the Police Court this morning. Maxwell Steel Ramsay, a labourer, 38 years of age, of Yaldhurst, charged with a second offence for drunkenness within the past six months, was convicted and fined 20s, in default 48 hours’ imprisonCharles Nellson, alias Nelson, of Brooklands, a labourer, 43 years of age, who was charged with being intoxicated while in charge of a horse and cart, was convicted and fined £3 and costs, in default 21 days’ imprisonment. It was stated that the accused had a long list*of similar offences.
