PRIVATE DANCE.
Mr and Mrs C. M. Ollivier Entertain. FOOTBALL TEAMS HONOURED. Mr and Mrs Cecil Ollivier last night entertained a number of young people at a dance at their home “ Glenelg,” Murray Aynsley Hill. The party was in honour of the members of the Otago Boys’ High School football team, who yesterday played their annual game against Christ’s College. The large darwjng-room, which was used for dancing, the hall-lounge, and the dining-room were decorated with chrysanthemums and masses of spring flowers. Mrs Ollivier wore a smart frock and coatee of black georgette and lace, and Miss Lois Ollivier wore a pink georgette frock made with slightly draped bodice and puff sleeves. The guests included Mr and Mrs T. W. Tothill, Mr Botting (Dunedin), Mr and Mrs J. G. Hawkins, Misses Lesley Milnes, Celia Reese, Anne Morrow, Lois and Ellece Blank, Margaret and Janet Williams, Sally Wynn-Williams, Joan Preston, Isabel Wright, Pauline Upham, Helen Thomson, Dorothy Loughnan, Deirdre Mulligan. Elisabeth Morris, Harper, Norah Firth, Joan Turnbull, Alison Beadel, Pamela Rawnsley, Lois Petrie, Barbara Lawrence. Sheila Cord*ner, Pamela Price, Betty Maling, Claire Wilson and the members of the Otago Boys’ High School and Christ’s College football teams.
