SOCIAL EVENING.
An enjoyable evening was spent by the members of the Scottish Society Junior League and friends, when Mr C. S. Thomas, President of the Caledonian Society, gave an interesting talk on his travels through Scotland The evening was concluded with items rendered by members of the Junior League, pipe selection bv the band’s youngest recruit. Master Leslie Smith: songs, Jean Dickson; recitation, Lewis Johnston; songs, Mrs Empson, Miss Jean M'Laughlan; recitation, Mr David Dickson; Highland Reel, members of the band. Mr R. M. Spiers presided in the absence of Chief G. Tilfer. 1
