COMING-OF-AGE PARTY.
Private Dance Held at Linwood. An enjoyable evening was spent in the Linwood Tennis Club’s pavilion when Mr and Mrs A. J. Nicholas, Petrie Street, Richmond, entertained a large number of friends to celebrate the coming of age of their daughter Betty. The evening was spent in dancing. interspersed with musical items and competitions. Items were rendered by Misses Gwenda Mollison and Gloria Judkins and Mr Hubbard. Mr W. Frankland was M.C. and Cooke's Orchestra supplied the music. The health of the guest was proposed by Mr E. Wilson and the presentation of the customary key was made by Mr A. J. Nicholas.
