Trophies Presented to Women Swimmers. One of the social gathering!? which is looked forward to each year in the port is the Lyttelton Ladies’ Swimming Club’s annual da.ice, and its popularity was again proved on Saturday evening when the Excelsior Hall was crowded with dancers. The Herdman-Fisk Orchestra supplied the music. The trophies won during the season were presented by the Mayor (Mr \V. T. Lester) as follows:—Senior championship, cup presented by Mrs Colin Cook, Miss Jessie Gilray; junior championship, cup presented by Miss Mary Crawford, Miss Ruth Morris; cup presented by Mrs J. D. Bundy for member scoring most points.
