MANCHESTER UNITY.
The first meeting of the Manchester Unity 1.0.0. F., North Canterbury District, was held on Thursday evening. Brother C. J. Holsey, District Grand Master, presiding. Several lodges sent replies favourable to the formation of a sports club, and it is hoped to be able to call a meeting of all interested in the near future. Correspondence was received from the Wellington District containing information regarding Past Grand lodges and efficiency competitions. It was decided to hold the District Conference on Friday, March 17. The revision of District Special Rules was completed, and it was decided to have these sent to lodges as soon as possible. The District Deputy Grand Master, Brother S. J. Geary, reported having visited the Loyal Otorohanga Lodge in the Auckland District, and conveyed fraternal greetings from that lodge. The nomination of P.P.G,M» Brother H. C. Morgan for the position of Director was forwarded to the Grand Secretary.
