(Continued from page 1.) United Press Assn.—By Eleetrlo Telegraph—Copyright. (Received January 14, 12.35 pm.) LONDON, January 13. Arthur Whitelaw and several other Australian firms have promised to contribute to the expenses of a search for Bert Hinkler. In addition to the Air Ministry's appeal the British Broadcasting Corporation has appealed direct to thirteen European countries, requesting that radio stations broadcast an appeal urging citizens to aid in the search for Hinkler. Captain W. L. Hope has announced that he is willing to search the Alps personally and to bear half the cost if others raise the balance.
