TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS.
The annual provincial lawn tennis championship and handicap tournament, including the junior championships, will take place at Wilding: Park to-morrow, Monday and Tuesday. The junior events, for which there is a record entry, commence at 9 a.m. to-morrow, and the senior events will begin at 1.30 p.m.
sharp. All the leading players of the province, including C. Angas, H. A. Barnett. I. A. Seay, D. F\ Glanville and T. W. Patterson, are taking part in the tournament, which promises to be very successful. The tournament secretary, Mr R. Browning, will be glad to have the names and addresses of persons who are willing to act as umpires, so that passes might be sent to them. Admission each day will be Is, and a parking fee of Is each will be charged for cars.
