PRESENTATION TO TEACHER
At the Papanui School, Miss Eileen Potten, dux of the school, on behalf of the scholars, presented Mrs D. A. M’Meekan with an afternoon tea set and silver cake dish. Miss June Thwaites, for Standards IV. and 111., also presented the departing teacher with a set of hand-painted supper dishes and a bouquet of roses. Mrs M’Meekan is leaving to take up a position as head teacher at the Greenpark School.
