PORT OF LYTTELTON. Wainui Discharges Cargo from Melbourne. The intercolonial steamer Wainui arrived at Lyttelton this morning to discharge Melbourne cargo and transhipments. She leaves for Wellington this evening and returns here at the end of the month. The Wingatui is loading here for Auckland to-day. The Holmdale, on loading here to-day, proceeds to Wellington, f’icton and Wanganui. The Port Whangarei arrived this morning from the south; she leaves for the aorth this evening. TARANAKI will discharge Liverpool cargo at Lyttelton to-morrow. OTAIO, which will load here early next month, is schedxxled to sail for London on January 4, via Cape Horn PORT SYDNEY is to make Lyttelton her final loading port and is scheduled to leave here on January 10 for London, via Cape Horn and St Vincent. MAUI POMARE FOR SLIP. The Maui Pomare, now at Wellington, will go on to the Patent Slip to-day for annual overhaul, and sail again on January 10. . RANOITANE’S DEPARTURE. Rangitane, which has been loading in New Zealand ports, is expected to leave Wellington at daybreak on Friday for London, via Panama. RGAHOU TO CARRY OIL. The scow Ngahou, which is due in Wellington to-morrow to discharge a cargo from Auckland, is to run in conjunction with the Moa in the carriage of oil to southern ports. ZEALAKDZA’S TRANSHIPMENTS. Zealandia, which arrived yesterday morning from Sydney, included in her cargo transhipments from the following vessels:—Querimba, Kyokkoh Maru, Strathaird and Kitano Maru. PERSONAL. Captain E. Evans is taking command of the Loongana, at Melbourne, and his deck officers will be:—Chief, Mr E A Steen; second, Mr W. A. Dohrn; third, Mr C. G. Hill. Mr R. D. Brebner is relieving Mr S. C. Angus as second officer of the Waihemo. Mr E. G. K. Meatyard has rejoined the Tamahine as second officer after holiday leave, relieving Mr S. B. Ward for orders. Mr H. Ruegg has reported from sick leave, and has joined the Kalingo as second officer. Mr R. F. Dewar is now second officer of the Kini, and Mr G. M. Schofield is third officer of the Waipiata. Mr A. W. Bagley has rejoined the Kaimai as second engineer after holiday leave, and Mr W. M. Jackson is now third engineer of the same vessel. Mr C. W. Pirie has rejoined the Waipahi as chief engineer in place of Mr W. W. Houghton, who has joined the tanker Otokia in a similar capacity. Mr W. Smart, second engineer of the Waipiata, is ashore on holiday leave, his place being taken by Mr L. Blomfield. Mr J. J. Smith replaces Mr R. Hart as first mate on the Kapiti. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS.
