Further Arrangements Made for Street Day. A meeting of the Women’s Executive of the Red Cross Society was held this morning, Lady Wigram presiding. Advice had been received that the Horticultural Society would undertake the tlower stall on the street collection day, now settled for February 24. Mrs J. Stevenson, reporting for the cake stall, said that arrangements were well in hand. Mrs Herbert Acton- ] Adams, president of the Motunau branch, i offered to assist the cako stall. Mrs D. E. Hansen, of the Opawa i branch, reported that Mrs R. L. Livingstone and her sewing bee would help with donations of sweets for the sweet stall. Mrs A. j. Benzie and Mrs R. I Anderson stated that they were arranging a Tombola stall. Mrs Henry Wyatt, organising the collectors, stated that notices would be sent out to young people willing to assist asking them what time during the day they would be available. The committee will be pleased to hear of any people willing to help. - • sub-committee comprising tlie president, Mesdames H. Wyatt and Cyril Stringer was elected to make further arrangements with regard to • publicity. The next meeting of the women’s executive will be held on January 20.
