Not only parents, but anyone interested in the work, will be invited this year to be present on the annual visiting day at the Christchurch Technical College, on Thursday, October 27. The college will be thrown open in the afternoon between 1.30 and 3.30, and again in the evening after 7.15. An exhibition of practical work by the pupils will this year be made in the hall, instead of in the classrooms as in other years. The girls of the dressmaking classes will display the frocks they have made by wearing them in exhibitions during the day. The college sports will be held at Ensor’s Road next Friday at 10 a.m. INFORMATIVE—CONVENIENT ! It could not be too widely known that parcels, prams and motor-cycles may be left half a minute from the Square at Runwell’s Cycle Stand, Gloucester Street, opposite “ Times ” Office. 7
