Are Churches Hopeful?
To the Editor. Dear Sir.—l have listened eagerly to the opening services of 3YA, and so far have been very disappointed. In these trying times people want hope, but all the messages from ministers are bound up with references to the Bible, etc. It is a positive fact that the Churches generally are losing ground in every country. As far as I can see the only salvation is for religion to preach Christianity as they see it to-day—-fearlessly, regardless of Government, parties, etc. Then the people will fill the now generally empty churches.—l am. etc., LOAVES AND FISHES.
