Ladies’ Golf Match at Charteris Bay.

The senior L.G.U. medal match played at Charteris Bay during the weekend was won by Miss M. Sowden. 92 —12 —80, with Miss Edna Ayers, 96—13—83, runner-up. Miss Sowden also won a play’-off of a tie with Miss Eunice Sproule in an eclectic match for a trophy presented by Mrs H. Ayers. Miss Sowden’s score for nine sealed holes was 45—7—38. Billiards Tournament.

D. Collins was the winner of the flying fifty’ billiards tournament played at the Lyttelton Club on Monday evening. E. Muxlow was runner-up. Spring Growth.
