Peruvian Rebels Forced to Dig Own Graves. FIFTY-SEVEN OTHERS TO DIE. United Press Assn—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received August 2, 11.30 am.) LIMA (Peru), August 1. The Government announced to-day that forty-four men were executed on Wednesday at Trujilio for participating in the revolt there early last month. The men, who were convicted by a court-martial, were taken out and lined up on the edge of the trenches which they themselves had dug around the city, and were shot. One hundred and one were condemned to death, but fifty-seven have not yet been taken into custody.
