DAMAGE BY FIRE.
Blaze in Timaru Draper’s Establishment. (Special to the “Star.”) TIMARU, August 1. The Timaru Fire Brigade was called out at 7.45 p.m. to-day to the premises of Thompson and Co., drapers, Stafford Street, where a defective gas heater had ignited some fancy goods and sheeting, but the outbreak was extinguished before the brigade arrived and without causing much damage.
