LINWOOD KINDERGARTEN.
The Parents’ Committee .of the Linwood Kindergarten met in the St George’s Hall, on Monday, Mrs Bradding presiding. Others present were: Mesdames Gabites (convenor), Foster, Peters, Robson, Mather, Francey, Jackson, Gordon, Bradding (secretary) and Miss Martin (treasurer). It was reported that the winner of flour presented by Mrs Gordon' was Mrs Murphy, Ranfurly Street. It was decided to hold a jumble sale early in September and arrangements were made for a friendly euchre afternoon during this month. The bazaar and fancy dress party held recently had keen very successful, the sum of £lB 13s 6d being raised, which will be used in connection with the kindergarten.
