Marked Decline in Value of Permits.
The total value of building permits issued by the Christchurch City Council in June this year shows a decrease of £10,038, when compared with the same month last year. The number of permits issued shows a decline of four over the same period. In the central inner area the value of permits for June has dropped from £12,185 in 1931 to £SIBO this year.
