Some Suggestions.

To th® Editor. Dear Sir, —Newspapers are oft judged by the news they don’t print, more so than by the items they do. Wittingly or unwittingly the dailies of New Zealand are missing- - real news as British and foreign weeklies testify. You’re supposed to be a Liberal daily. Talking about “ Bill ” Braithwaite—surely there must be some more good stories about him. Then tell us something about the Douglas Social Credit Plan to fight against which the bankers have formed a five million pound fund. A few paragraphs about what the Prune Minister told the editors in Wellington, and you will have nearly a page to take the place of that blood and murder page in your Saturday edition. My eyesight is certainly failing but printing the Stop Press in red ink makes it impossible to be read by artificial light and consequently I have to wait till next morn- I ing to read that Spanker won the Waipuk Nursery Welter Handicap 44.4 secs, scr, 4yds bhd., bogey 1 up and 2 to go.—l am, etc..
