Heavy List at Sitting To-day. “ASSISTING THE STATE." | “ There seem to he a good many people i anxious to assist the State this morning,” said the Magistrate, Mr E. D. Mosley, who presided at the sitting of the Traffic Court. Dangerous driving—Ralph Linton Tutty £2. Negligent driving—James Petrie Evans and William Fairchild Marsh 30s. Dangerous driving—Thofnas Edward Garnet Wilson £4. Cases dismissed—Charges against Harry Anderson, of permitting the use of a unlicensed car and affixing wrong number-plates were dismissed. Three charges—Dora Yeatman was fined £2 and costs for driving an unlicensed car, convicted and discharged for causing wrong number-plates to he used, and fined £2 and costs for driving a car when the insurance premium had not lieen paid.
