Kawarau Company to be Wound Up. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, June 30. This afternoon an extraordinary general meeting of members of the kawarau Gold Mining Company, Ltd., was held for the purpose of considering a resolution that the company should be wound up. The resolution was carried, axid Mitson and Co. were appointed liquidators. The liquidation of the parent company is a natural consequence of the amalgamation recently entered into between the company and its lessees, the claimholders on the Kawarau River. The assets of both the parent company and the claimholders are being acquired by the Amalgamated Kawarau Gold Mining Company, Ltd., of Wellington, Avhich will issue, in due course, fully paid shares in exchange for the assets it has acquired.
