Expenditure Adjustment Commission. A VOLUMINOUS REPORT. (Special to th© “Star.”) WELLINGTON, July 1 The extended time allowed the National Expenditure Adjustment Commission for submitting its main report expired j'esterday. It is understood that the Commission has completed its work, but the Prime Minister stated to-day that the report was not yet in the Government’s hands. The report will be a much more voluminous document and cover a much wider field than the interim report furnished during the recent, session, as the bulk of the departments of State will come umkr review for the purpose of effecting economies.
