RICCARTON RED CROSS.
A well-attended meeting of the Upper Riccarton branch of the Red Cross Society was held in the Sunday schoolroom on Tuesday. Sewing, which had been taken at the previous meeting, was handed in and another large collection of cut-out garments from the Christchurch Depot, was taken by members to sew at home. It was decided to meet fortnightly in future, the next meeting to be on Tuesday, July 12.
