SPREYDON BOWLING CLUB.

At the annual meeting of the Sprey- j don Bowling Club Air W. G. Smith pre-j sided over a good attendance of mem- j bers. The president, in his report, said that the past season had been a very successful one, both financially and i socially. The club had finished the sea- i son with a good credit balance, which was a thing to be proud of in these times. The green \v»s looking very well, and a great deal of improvements j have been done to the club’s grounds during the winter months. Thanks were due to Air W. Allen, the green superinI tendent, for good work done. A letter was received from a commit- | tee of Indies of the district, who are • forming a bowling club, asking for peri mission to use the green during the i coming season, permission being granti ed.
