DARING BANK THEFT.
Canadian Bandit Secures fISOO Haul. WINNIPEG, June 20. “ There’s a policeman standing outside the window. Little does he know there’s a hold-up proceeding inside,” said the young bank bandit. Posing as an investigator from another bank sent to inquire about loans, a dapper young man robbed the Royal Bank of £ISOO by what was the coolest and most skilful crime recorded in Canada for several years. He talked pleasantly with the manager until it was closing time, and the customers had left. Then he dropped a cigar, stooped to pick it up, and came up holding a revolver. He forced the emplo3 r ees to lie on the floor.
