Kirk- Windeyer Cup.

To the Editor. Dear Sir,—Often, when a New Zealand team goes overseas, no matter what branch of sport concerned, the reports published in New Zealand papers are woefully inadequate. The 1928 All Blacks in South Africa were not well reported here, nor Yyas the last cricket team to tour England. I do hope that will not apply to the New Zealand golfers who are going over to Australia shortly to contest the Kirk-Windeyer Cup. There may, of course, be no need for this appeal, but the interest in the event is so great that I feel it is not unjustified. There must be at least ten thousand people in Christchurch alone who will be eagerly awaiting the accounts of these matches, and that is an indication of how great the Do-minion-wide interest will be.—l am. etc., GUTTY.
