PLUNKET BALL.
Successful Gathering on West Coast. BRANCH FUNDS BENEFIT. (Special to the “Star.”) GREYMOUTH, May 18. The annual ball conducted by the Greymouth branch of the Plunket Society was held last evening at Schaef’s Hall and was a successful gathering. Steel’s Orchestra supplied the music. A capable Ladies’ Committee was in charge of the dance, and all the arrangements were carried out in a satisfactory manner. Among those present were:—Mesdames F. M. Dennehy, L. M’Glashan, W.
