Mrs Guthrie Moore, Wellingtonfi is Mrs Guthrie Moore, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs R. E. McDougall, Papanui Road. Mr and Mrs W. F. Browne and Miss Gertrude Browne, Latimer Square, returned yesterday from a visit to Hanmer Springs. Mrs J. Mowbray Tripp, Geraldine, is paying a short visit to Dunedin to be present at the Unwin-Pinckney wedding. Miss Peggy Williams, Geraldine, is the guest of Mrs Gordon Williams, Otane, Hawke’s Bay. Miss Ensor, Dunedin, Mrs J. Matheson and Miss M. Matheson, Timaru, and Miss Pat Dwyer, Sydney, are staying at the United Service Hotel. Mrs J. R. Kirby and Mrs K. Young, Wellington, are the guests of Mrs A. D. Moore, Spreydon, Christchurch. Mr and Mrs Storey, Invercargill, left Christchurch last night for Wellington. Miss M. Bruce, Hokitika, passed through Christchurch yesterday on her way north. Misses Kathleen and Marion Williams, of Christchurch, are visiting their sister, Mrs V. E. Harris, Springston South. Mr and Mrs C. G. Judson, Cust, who have been staying with Mr and Mrs T. J. Kimber, Springston Siuth, have returned home. Mrs Beckett, Onslow Street, Timaru, who has been the guest of Mrs F. Ablett, “Willowdene,” Greenpark, has returned home. Mr and Mrs Shand and family, Dunedin, are the guests of Mrs C. Pannell, “Patiti,” Greenpark. Mrs H. Saundercock, Waikari, is spending a few days with Mrs George Bradford, St Martins. Mrs T. M. Hunter and Miss Valerie Hunter, Lyttelton, left for Wellingtoi last evening. They will spend a fort night’s holiday in the north. Mr and Mrs Singleton and family, Seacliff, who have been spending the vacation with Mrs F.
