Delay Occasioned by Late Receipt of Message. (Special to the “Star.”) GREYMOUTI-I, May IS. The Dobson and State miners resumed work this morning and the Wallsend men were to start this afternoon. Official advice was received late yesterday afternoon by Mr A M’Lagan, secretary of the Miners' National Council, from the Coal Mine Owners’ Association, announcing willingness to hold a conference to discuss the new agreement with the miners. The message was delayed as it was sent by night-letter telegram from Wellington addressed “ M’Lagan, Brunnerton, Westport, and was posted to Brunnerton yesterday.
