BRITISH INDUSTRIES FAIR.
United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received March 7, 11 a.m.) RUGBY, March 5. More than 150,000 persons, the highest figure yet recorded, attended the Birmingham section of the British Industries Fair, which closed last night. There were 98,193 last year. The estimated business achieved in the White City section, which closes to-night, has been so good that £5,000,000 worth of orders will have been taken, a figure approximately four times as great as that of last year. It is now known that next year’s textile section will contain twice as many exhibitors.
