AGITATION IN MALTA
Language Question Made
Central Issue.
United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received March 7, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, March 6. Reports from Malta show that the Nationalist Party are working up an agitation on the language question and intend making it a leading issue at the forthcoming election, holding that the people should be allowed to decide for themselves.
The Italian languauge has been banned in Malta and will no longer be taught in the schools.
