FELL FROM VIADUCT.
(Special to the ” Star.”) GREYMOUTH, March 5.
A serious accident occurred yesterday, when a motor velocipede, driven by Mr Arthur M’Kee, acting-foreman of works for the Railway Department, jumped the rails whilst crossing a viaduct between Omoto and Greymouth, the machine and driver falling fourteen feet. . , r Mr M’Kee, a married man with a wile and family residing in Timaru, had not long recovered after eight months in hospital as a result of injuries suffered in another velocipede accident. He has been acting foreman on the West Coast for about three months. His injuries are not expected to be serious. They include an injury to a leg, which was badly hurt in the previous accident.
