SPEEDWAY RACING.
A superb programme of broadsiding will be presented’ at Monica Park Speedway to-night, and those who seek speed thrills and daring riding are assured of full and ample entertainment. Five international speedway experts will be seen in action, in addition to the full contingent of Canterbury riders. Considerable interest lias been aroused over the appearance of Wally Kilmister, of Wellington, whose riding in North Island centres has been a sensation. Kilmister made a great name for himself in England, and his flying wheels are not unknown to Australians. He has beaten all the overseas visitors to New Zealand this season, including Tom Farndon, Nobby Key. Vic Huxley and Rav Tauser, the American. Can he beat Cyril Anderson to-night? Anderson has equalled Sid Jackson’s mile rolling start record of lmin 20 4-ssec, and Kilmister will have to do something thrilling to head the Australian. It will bo Kilmister’s only appearance at Monica Fark.
