WIN FOR ST BEDE’S.
St Andrew’s College Team Beaten. ANNUAL CRICKET MATCH. St Bede’s College played much better cricket in their second innings against St Andrew’s College. The outstanding performance was that of E. A. Boland, who batted steadily to score 64. G. P. R. Gifford was next with 40. Shand did most of the bowling for St Andrew’s. In their second innings, St Andrew’s collapsed. J. K. Welsford was the only one to make any impression on the bowling. He was caught off P. Scully when he had IS. D. L. Jones, who made such a good show behind the wickets, came to light with 11. W. Goss, a steady bat, managed to notch 9. For St Bede’s, Nelson took four wickets lor 6 runs, an excellent performance. M.
