GOLDEN WEDDING.
Mr and Mrs J. D. Fletcher, Armagh Street, Christchurch, who Recently left for Dunedin to celebrate their golden wedding, were entertained by Mrs Beswick, of George Street, recently. Mr and Mrs Fletcher were married on February 23, 1882. Mr Fletcher arrived in Dunedin by the Rotomahana in 1879. Mrs Fletcher was born in Dunedin in 1863, on the day of the arrival of her parents in this country. After being in business for many years in Dunedin, Mr and Mrs Fletcher, some twelve years ago, left that city to take up their residence in Christchurch.
