WILL ABANDON COATS.
Napier Shop Assistants Adopt Dress Reform. Per Press Association. NAPIER, December 19. Napier retailers and male shop assistants have decided to abandon coats, waistcoats and braces during shopping hours as from to-day. The men serving in the shops will wear white silk shirts, with a collar and tie and their trousers will be supported by belts.
