SICK BENEFIT SOCIETY.

Railway Workers Hold Annual Meeting. Members of the Christchurch Permanent Railway Employees' Sick Benefit Society held their annual meeting: last evening, Mr L. Shaw presiding over a fair attendance. The annual report stated that during the year there had been heavy expenditure in connection with the sick fund. In the medical fund there was a credit balance of £26 6s 6d. The annual report and balance-sheet were adopted. The election of officers resulted as follows: President. Mr S.
